We’re transitioning to 100% renewable energy by 2030, with net-zero emissions by 2050, by implementing green procurement, refrigerant management, recycling, biodiversity protection, and eco-efficient solar modules, all to minimise our carbon footprint and restore the natural balance.

Waaree Energies is committed to sustainable growth by embedding environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance into its core operations.
We drive long-term impact by leveraging our financial strength, advanced manufacturing capabilities, skilled talent, innovation, stakeholder trust, and sustainable practices, ensuring holistic growth through the balanced development of all our core capitals.

At Waaree, our sustainability efforts are deeply aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). From supporting healthcare and education to promoting gender equality, clean energy, and ethical governance, we embed purpose into every action we take.
Our initiatives encompass offering efficient solar technologies (SDG 7, 9) and implementing fair labour practices (SDG 8, 10), as well as driving responsible consumption and climate action (SDG 12, 13). We foster inclusive growth, uphold human rights, and promote community well-being through CSR programmes, ensuring that our impact extends far beyond energy toward building a more equitable and sustainable future for all.

We collaborate with stakeholders to foster trust, transparency, and long-term value through shared goals and responsible engagement.

Waaree Energies Launches India’s First Verified EPDs for Solar Panels
Waaree Energies Limited proudly becomes the first Indian solar panel manufacturer to publish independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its Bifacial MonoPERC and TopCon solar modules.
Certified under the globally recognised International EPD System, these declarations transparently measure and communicate the environmental impact of our panels. With market-leading efficiency and exceptionally low carbon footprints, Waaree’s solar modules reflect our unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation. This milestone supports global Net Zero goals and reinforces India’s position as a leader in the renewable energy transition.
"The global community is collectively engaged in a crucial effort to mitigate the impact of climate change, caused in large part by generations of fossil fuel usage. As the world works towards achieving Net-Zero emissions in the decades ahead, the adoption of clean, renewable energy sources will be essential to fulfilling this objective."
Accelerating the global energy transition

Waaree Energies proudly aligns with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), joining global frontrunners in the race to achieve Net Zero. This commitment marks a bold step in our climate strategy, grounded in science and focused on impact.
By supporting the corporate and industrial sectors in fulfilling their renewable energy purchase obligations, we’re enabling a smooth and scalable shift to clean power. The SBTi framework empowers us to set clear, measurable goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, in line with limiting global warming and achieving net zero by 2050.
At Waaree, we don’t just follow sustainability standards. We help define them.

Waaree Energies fully complies with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework mandated under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and enforced by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
As part of our EPR Responsibilities and Actions, Waaree is actively engaged in:
